Caution,
beware of lowball internet pricing. There are hazzards involved
in buying an unlocked phone from a dotcom. Most imported unlocked
phones are not made for the American market and do not have American
carrier settings or an American warranty. This means, at best,
they are not pre-configured for Internet, messaging, e-mail or
voice mail with your local carrier, but will work for voice calling.
At worst, they may even have Arabic or Chinese characters combined
with English. All of our models include American keypads and flashing
with your proper carrier settings. Dr Wireless is one of very
few authorized NOKIA dealers who sells the American version of
E-Series and N-Series models like the E-61i with Nokia's American
warranty.
For
world travelers who go to Japan, our NOKIA E-65 with a CELTREK
card is the way to go. This model will work almost everywhere
and so will our CELTREK World SIM cards.

sell quite a few of these models for activation locally as well
as for export.
You won't find these unlocked models at the stores since most
have not yet been introduced to the United States. Because of
this, your carrier's replacement program and/or equipment insurance
are not available.

for data services with your carrier of choice. If you would like
to utilize text messaging, web browsing or e-mail, this is extremely
important. Unlike voice services, unlocked phones are not compatible
with your carriers data services out of the box. We offer data
configuration services complimentary to our subscribers. If your
phone was purchased elsewhere, we can configure all of the data
settings for $50.
