Health
Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH
Act)
Physicians are eligible
for $40,000 to $65,000 for showing that they are meaningfully using
health information technology, such as e-prescribing and through
the reporting of quality measures. Hospitals will be eligible for
several million dollars in the Medicaid and Medicare programs to
similarly use health information technology. Federally qualified
health centers, rural health clinics, children’s hospitals
and others will be eligible for funding through the Medicaid program.
Incentive payments for both physicians and hospitals continue for
several years, but are phased out over time. The first payment checks
are scheduled to be issued in 2011 to those who are moving forward
today. Dr Wireless knows which EHR solutions are already CCHIT certified
for 2010. We can also show your practice how to take advantage of
the recently relaxed Stark Law. To set up a personal EHR Consultation,
contact Joel Saltzman.

Dr
Wireless EHR/EMR Healthcare Consulting Services
Dr Wireless knows Unified Communications
and has over 6 years of experience with voIP. We are now officially
partnered with Cisco, IBM, HP, Microsoft, NextGen, Honeywell,
RIM, Ingrammicro, Polycom, NOKIA and many other IT industry
heavyweights. These days, most Healthcare communication solutions
require collaboration between multiple hardware, software and
3rd party vendors. We have products like Cisco's UC500 which
integrate voice, messaging, video and desk top applications
on the same network. Exciting new features like Single Number
Reach, Presence (showing availability of user), Instant Messaging,
Video Messaging, and Video Surveillance are now available. For
voice services, everything is now web based as far as settings.
Accoustic fidelity is superior and high quality video is now
available with inexpensive equipment. For a nominal consultation
fee, Dr Wireless can help your practice choose the most practical,
scalable and cost effective EHR/EMR Solution. To really put
it in the proper perspective, Dr Wireless is "the straw
that stirs the drink." We are your UC contractor and make
sure all "sub contractors" are on the same page. Good
m-Health solutions are like a chain link fence. In order to
work efficiently, each link must do it's part working together
for the good of the whole solution. |

New
BlackBerry BES Express Replaces Blackberry Professional Software
The perfect solution
for small-medium businesses that have their own exchange server
but don't wish to spend $3,000 for a traditional BlackBerry
BES. The BES Express is FREE, the CAL (Certified Access License)
is FREE and the functionality is very similar. The primary difference
is that the BES Express works more like BlackBerry Internet
Services. As a result, instead of over 400 IT Policies (Permissions),
there are only 35. Most of the major policies like remotely
wiping a lost device are still there. Dr Wireless offers Everything
Blackberry including BES, CALS, T-Support Renewals, End User
Training, IT Help Desk, 3rd party Solution administration and
much more. Ask for details.

IBM
WebSphere Portal Solutions for Healthcare
It's all about connecting patients, physicians
and third party care providers. A portal is a single unified
Web interface to personalized information, applications, processes
and people - in the context of each user's unique profile. Portals
help clinicians find the right information at the right time.
They improve patient care, increase patient satisfaction, and
improve overall efficiency. Duke University even uses their
IBM WebSphere portal for their patients (dukehealth.org). It
provides patients access to health records, builds deeper doctor-patient
relationships and improves patient satisfaction, and safety.
