The Secrets of Global Roaming
Dr Wireless Reveals the Truth About Global Roaming
Depending on the
country(s) you are planning to visit, your local carrier's voice calling rates will range between $1.29 to $4.99 per minute.
International data roaming charges will set you back about $20 per MB. Global text messaging can also be as high as $0.50 per message. Just because you contacted your carrier and requested global service to be set up is no guarantee that it will work after arriving. There are multiple options and device settings that need to be correct. Often times, carriers offer additional off-sheet global roaming/long distance calling feature add-ons. Amazingly, these are often, either not mentioned out of ignorance, or because your carrier benefits by not revealing them. That being said, short of Blackberry e-mail and BB Instant Messaging, we don't generally even recommend using your local carrier to roam globally. These days, all that is needed to "beat the system" is a Smartphone or BlackBerry with wifi. If you regularly travel abroad, we can save you a bundle. |

Dr Wireless T-Mobile
UMA/GANS Lite voIP Solutions
Before T-Mobile had
3G data speeds and good coverage, they exclusively offered an amazing new technology
called Unlicensed Mobile Access. Their Blackberry devices were specially designed to default to their subscriber's home or office IP (once set up properly). This allowed users to make phone calls from the mobile network and/or Wifi network, even allowing seamless transition between the two. It also speeded up web browsing substantially. This was a brilliant, low cost solution in areas where TM's wireless service was marginal, or not available. About 4 years ago, Dr Wireless discovered how
to make FREE international Wifi phone calls when calling home from
overseas with this technology. Learn how to receive FREE SMS globally and make FREE calls back to the US from nearly anywhere. Receive FREE phone calls from anywhere in the world. T-Mobile doesn't advertise this amazing legal loophole, as they would lose much of their roaming revenue. Take our Dr Wireless Global Roaming Seminar and we will personally set this up on your device and provide training on how to use it to roam FREE. |

Blackberry e-mail is cheap, secure and best for global travelers
Over 184 countries have adopted the Blackberry
e-mail standard. All of the US carriers offer Global Blackberry devices. Most carriers charge an additional $20-30
per month to increase your current unlimited domestic e-mail
coverage to unlimited international coverage. These plans can be pro-rated for as short as a week. Not
all Blackberry models have world capabilities. Some of the
newer models will support 3G/4G and even work in markets like
Japan and Korea. E-mail is a great way to communciate while
overseas because of the low cost and difference in world
time zones. Remember, you can set up to 10 e-mail boxes
per device. This is great when traveling with family or
colleagues that don't own a Blackberry. Ask us about other BlackBerry tricks like UMA! |
