All good things come to an end and it looks like T-Mobile's latest "meet comp" offer against Verizon may be quietly going away. Remember, before Verizon jumped into the Unlimited 4G LTE Data game, T-Mobile only offered Standard Definition, not High Definition streaming. They also did not offer any additional Mobile Hotspot data. We can thank Verizon for a change for forcing TM to raise the bar. 

Unofficially, I've heard that T-Mobile management will be quietly retiring these promotions and going back to the old version of these plans. That means they can sell you these upgraded features instead of offer them FREE.  I would not be surprised if they also retire their retail promotion that pays all phone bill taxes and fees.
